Derrick White Impresses in Game 2 Loss
Celtics Guard Delivers Solid Performance Despite Defeat
Boston Celtics point guard Derrick White turned in a strong performance in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Miami Heat, despite the Celtics' 111-101 loss on Wednesday.
White, who started in place of the injured Marcus Smart, scored 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting, including 2-of-4 from three-point range. He also contributed four assists, one rebound, one block, and one steal in 36 minutes of play.
White's performance was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing night for the Celtics, who fell behind 0-2 in the series. The Celtics will look to bounce back in Game 3, which will be played in Boston on Friday.
